Employment legislation

The employment relationship is governed by the Constitution of the RA, but the main regulation is the Labor Code, the Civil Code of the RA, the Law on employment, the Law on minimum wage of salary, the Law on Employers’ Union, the Law on Trade Unions etc. In addition, there are several decisions of the Government of Armenia, as well as injunctions of the Minister of labor and social issues, of course, including International Treaties which have priority over national legislation.
